We are proud to announce call for abstract submission to the 2^nd Conference for Young Scientists (CYS-2017), which is the Joint Meeting of the 25^th Annual Conference “Modern Aspects of Biochemistry and Biotechnology” that traditionally takes place in Palladin Institute of Biochemistry, Kyiv, Ukraine and Conference of the Young Scientists of the Division of Biochemistry, Physiology and Molecular Biology National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (BPMB NAS of Ukraine. We would like to invite PhD students and young scientists from a broad range of biological disciplines to join us at the CYS-2017 in Kyiv, Ukraine on the 6^th -9^th  of June 2017. 

The aim of the Conference is to highlight recent achievements of young scientist across multiple scale of biology, ranging from the gene to the organism level. At the core of this idea stands an interdisciplinary approach, which is also an integral part of the research at the CYS-2017.You are welcomed to contribute to the following sessions:

1. Gene expression
2. Proteomics and protein functions
3. Metabolites and correction of metabolic processes
4. Biomaterials
5. Bioactive compounds
6. Cancerogenesis
7. Molecular basis of physiological functions

We invited special guests as keynote speakers (in process):

PhD Tatyana Yevsa (Department of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Endocrinology, Hannover Medical School, Hannover, Germany)

Our program also includes the list of workshops (in process):

1.  Flow cytometry (Kyrylo Pyrshev, Palladin Institute of Biochemistry)

2.  Image processing and analysis using ImageJ (Andriy Labyntsev, Palladin Institute of Biochemistry).

3.  Langendorff isolated rat heart technique (Yulia Goshovska, Bogomoletz Institute of Physiology)

4.  Bioinformatics

5. Transmission (antireflection) electron microscopy

It is great opportunity for young scientists to join the 4-days marathon of oral and poster presentations and to take part in Competition for Young Investigator for the best presentation. The winners will be awarded with special prizes.

Registration fee waivers will be available!!!

Please, note: that abstract will be carefully revised by The Program Committee, thus, your abstract should be build up according to scheme: Introduction/Methods/Results/Conclusions and presents the original data that were not published before. Accepted abstract will be published in Ukrainian Biochemical Journal Special Issue.
