Dear colleagues,
On behalf of the Local Organizing Committee of the XI Parnas Conference it is my pleasure to invite you to participate in the XI Parnas Conference – Young Scientists Forum “Biochemistry and Molecular Biology for Innovative Medicine”. The Conference is organized jointly by Ukrainian Biochemical Society, Polish Biochemical Society and Israel Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology with the FEBS generous support as a FEBS 3+ Meeting.
The Conference will be held on 3-5 September 2018, in Kyiv, Ukraine at the premises of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (University No1 in Ukraine).
The conference is especially aimed at encouraging young scientists to share their ideas and achievements in innovative medicine and all other aspects of Biochemistry, Molecular and Cell Biology. The working language of the Conference is English.
The Conference will consist of presentations by two invited prominent lecturers (to be confirmed), three keynote speakers selected and invited by each of the Society, 27 oral presentations by selected young scientists from Poland, Israel and Ukraine as well as open poster sessions. The winners of the latter will be invited to make five minutes “speed talk”.
The Conference Book of Abstracts will be published as the special issue of The Ukrainian Biochemical Journal (UBJ). UBJ is published in English only and, being founded in 1926, is one of the oldest biochemical journals in the world.
If you are selected by your Society or wish to take part in the Conference on your own, please register at the Conference website (http://parnas.bioinfo.org.ua) and send the Title and Abstract of your Presentation following the instructions. For the registration and Abstract submission the deadline is June 15. The Abstracts submitted later will not be published in UBJ.

Conference registration fee:
Participants 35 years old in 2018 and under 35 years – 50 euro,
participants over 35 years old - 75 euro.
Ukrainian scientists:
members of the Ukrainian Biochemical Society 35 years old in 2018 and under 35 - 600 UAH,
other - 900 UAH.
Conference participants selected and invited by the Societies (keynote and young scientists oral speakers) are waived of the Registration fee.
Conference fee covers: Registration, Conference bag, Programme, Ukrainian Biochemical Journal as book of abstracts, Conference Certificate, Get-together party, Coffee breaks.
